Sufficiently satisfied with tonight's episode.

I really, really enjoyed tonight’s episode of Supernatural. Besides the fact that an hour just flew by



I enjoyed seeing Ellen again because I love her character dearly. And I adored Bobby/Ellen, though it broke my heart to see Bobby so sad and alone. I would love him.



And I lovelovelove Balthazar, so it was enjoyable to hear his sarcastic, witty comments. He’s like Heaven’s Crowley. OMG CROWLEY/BALTHAZAR



I’m still really distrustful of what the writers are going to do with Castiel, even though I screamed “CASTIEL TAKE THE WHEEL!” when Dean flicked the lighter open. But he saved them in time. Oh my good Lord. I’m not sure what’s going on, I’m glad that Castiel still longs for freedom, like everyone else and has an allegiance to the to the boys… but what exactly is he doing and what lengths will he go to to save the boys/gain freedom?



THE MUSTANG. THAT WAS HORRIBLE. I WAS SO GLAD TO SEE THE IMPALA.



Fate was cute.



Anyways, NEXT WEEK! COWBOY EPISODE! EXCITEMENT!

6.17, My Heart Will Go On.



…It had some really nice moments.

The scene at the end was lovely, but now solidify’s the hope theory I have that Bobby is going to die at the end of this season.

I actually loved the whole One Way or Another music montage.

The sibling banter was wonderful, but a ‘Dean, always with the scissors’ moment was sorely missed.

Cas.

Cas was brilliant. I like that he’s being dubious and manipulative and some sort of well-intentioned Machiavellian character where the ends are justifying his means. And other than standing in front of a terrible green screen, he had a lot of purpose in the episode.

Major fucking props to the Dean/Cas shippers who took a step back and said that Balthazar has also made comments about Sam and Castiel interacting romantically.

Amidst your celebration (and even though you didn’t have to), you acknowledged that Balthazar is prone to throwing that shit around without much gravity behind the words.

Being a Wincest shipper, I can’t honestly say I’m happy for you, and I’ve never been one for objectivity…but thank you for that, guys.

Now comes the fucking excruciating wait for Frontierland.

Eh...

As much as I love Supernatural…’My Heart Will Go On’ was definitely not my favorite one.











By 9:50, I still felt like I was waiting there for the episode to start.



It definitely did have it’s moments though. It made me giggle a few times, absolutely.



Like when Sam and Dean were “avoiding Fate”, and when they woke up to Celine Dion in the car.











But I have a question…



At the end of the episode when Sam and Dean are standing in Bobby’s living room, after Dean tucks him in and all (which was adorable)…it shows the picture of Bobby that was once Bobby and Ellen.



Why does Bobby have a picture of himself framed in his living room?
