Bradley Cooper has shown he can carry a movie. Will he be able to carry a legendary film?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cooper is in talks to star in a remake of the 1994 dark comic book-based classic, "The Crow." Cooper just opened the thriller "Limitless" number one at the box office, proving his leading man status; Relativity Media, the company behind that film, is also the engine behind "The Crow" remake.
About a slain rocker returned from the dead to avenge his death, the original film starred Brandon Lee, son of martial arts legend Bruce, who was tragically killed after a prop gun accidentally shot him with a dummy bullet.
THR says that Cooper has already met with the film's director, and that it's on a pace for rapid development.
Cooper will next appear in "The Hangover Part II," in May. In addition to his compelling action scenes in "Limitless," he starred last year in the action-comedy remake of "The A-Team."
The star also recently said that he wants the role of Tom Buchanan in the upcoming "The Great Gatsby" film, though it looks like Ben Affleck may get that part.

ReplyDeletesrsly?! wtf is wrong with hollywood these days, are they all drinking the special kool aid that makes them think it's ok to just remake the shit out of everything and give things sequels that should never have gotten sequels in the first place! *head desk* is there really no sch thing as an original idea anymore? well come on over to this blog, we've got plenty of original ideas, porny, but they're still better than the load of horse shit they're producing these days. the next thing you know 5 or 10 years down the road they'll start remaking the Harry Potter films or something stupid like that, just you wait.
